A Family Disease

project courage treats the whole family

When it comes to substance use disorder, the entire family is affected. Project Courage works not only to help clients reach goals of recovery, but also with families on necessities like self-care, boundaries, and resource building.

One of the most important resources for families is connecting with other families that share a similar experience. That's why Project Courage has introduced a family support group on Thursdays.

The support group is facilitated by a licensed clinician, designed to encourage shared experiences while also guiding through a clinical lens.

Family support group Information:

The group takes place on Thursdays from 6:30pm until 7:30pm at:

Project Courage,

130 Elm Street,

Old Saybrook, CT 06475.

For first time members, there is no charge. We are in-network with Anthem BCBS and Aetna, and out-of-network with other private insurances. We DO NOT want finances to be a barrier to treatment so if you are interested, please reach out and we will make it work.
